Troubled trips are going to keep increasing the more these races are bottled up with lack of pace, just not sure how to capitalize when it happens over and over again.

Pretty bad when a Mnr card is better than a PSA card.
Hands down today.

I was watching replays of yesterday's races and was laughing out loud watching Paco Lopez rating the rabbit in the Whitney. It made me think of our comments here. I'm with you that trainers aren't too bright either but pound for pound no dumber athlete than a jockey, especially Paco. .

His sole reason for being in the gate was to set a fast pace and he rated him. Reminds me of when Chantal Sutherland did that in the Jockey Club Gold Cup a few years back.

As a side note, Looch's racing manager was VERY critical of Paco's ride on twitter. Funny stuff.

How can anyone take this game seriously when they rate rabbits?
They already were colored silk, just add big shoes and red noses - truth in advertising - a bunch of worthless clowns.

But they don't bet, now do they>

For it to be really useful though there has to be some success at prediction of a good trip next out, if not you can get so buried betting trip horses back that the chance of getting out gets difficult when you actually do get that win.

Of course rating the rabbit was ridiculous. How is he not going 46 to the half? Almost as silly was them running a rabbit for freaking War Story! His best races are on or near the lead.

Tough to watch Talking Horses w/out Serling.

Not a knock against the rest of the team, more of a tribute to the rare quality that Andy brings.

Race 1

is this a 'winners circle' horse that was claimed by Jacobson and his partnership as a break-even, have some fun, win-and-get-claimed at the Spa proposition??

I'm surprised he's not 8/5?.

why is the horse 3/1?

/post-race hammered to 2/1 late, not much response in a race that wasn't kind to closers

don't normally handicap on workouts but 3f 44 followed by 3f 40 looks pretty dire

race 2

Great call on the

looks like an underlay to me, and potentially faces quality rivals here after a move in her first start that looked better on the chart than on the replay.

had the better debut and is extremely logical

looks like one of the best animals on the track(although skittish), and Cox is a potent trainer

- no one is better at sucking up than Cancel, long shot who doesn't have to try to win, and can ride for a board spot underneath
