Owner Wins $200K on FTS at Santa Anita

Micks Miracle got pounded at the windows on opening day at Santa Anita and owner John Liviakis was the reason.
Bet just over $46,000 on him in various pools and cashed for over $200,000

Well done! I like his style..puts his money were his mouth is..
Looks like he won just over $45,00 on his win bet at 9/5 or 9.5 to 5 to be precise. The rest was in the P3/4 and P5...I need to keep an eye out in the future.

I don't understand the math, wouldn't he have cashed for 200k on the pick 5 if he had it for 100?

His tickets are in the article. He hit $164K on his pick 5 (which was played multiple ways to make it 7200, not 100 total). He hit $67K on his pick 4 (with $3K total on the wager).

Fun stuff.

I saw the tickets but too small print for me to read them, the article writer said he connected on a 100 dollar pick 5, so i just assumed that was accurate.

Thanks.

I wonder what'd happened if he had another horse to run in a race he's got another competitor to win in a P4, P3 or P5.

He should be kicked out of the game if that happens.
