Solis, Stevens and Bravo, all next man up for 5k wins
Alex needs 1 win for 5,000, Gary needs about 10 and Bravo needs about 18.
Congrats to all these jocks for great milestones coming up in the very near future.

What would the legendary Ramón be up to now if not hurt? 7000?

How many wins would they have if they ran in Northern California as long as Russel Baze has. They would be up near 1000 or over.

Stevens is starting to worry me a little. He's not been the same since his return from full knee replacement. Horses seem to hold back in the stretch, when they would go all out for the old Stevens. I hope he'll be back to his winning ways sooner than later, but until then I'd have to consider him a standard fade.

He's not the Gary of old. He got a horse beat the other day, i think it was a Mandella horse who got beat by Bejarano on some horse to took all this late money and they went 1-2 around the track and Gary just couldn't get his horse to pass, even though he had the much better animal. I thought "if he got beat with THIS horse, who can he ever win with"?
Hopefully he can get back into form and be the Old Gary and start winning.

Did Alex get his 5,000th win? I must have missed it. Trevor didnt mention anything in his call of Race 8 today at SA, so he must have gotten 5k already....geez, i gotta pay better attention.

it was really confusing, i was under the impression that either he didn't get his 5,000th win, or track announcers aren't allowed to talk about this in their calls.
I'm pretty sure i've heard announcers call milestone wins before, but since i didn't hear it today, i was thinking the practice must have been banned or something.

I'm trying to remember if Trevor said anything during his call when Mike Smith won 5,000 on Amazombie. I don't think he did then either, I believe he said something about taking away from the professionalism of his craft, that the PR staff of the track takes care of the ceremony part.

Bravo at 4,999 wins riding a 1-5 in the next race at Monmouth. Haven't followed Monmouth today, maybe JB has won 5k already?
