New IPAD APPS

Interesting new IPAD apps recently issued by Equibase and Trackmaster. Trackmaster--"Pocket Handicapper"; Equibase--"Todays Racing" and "iPPs".

Good stuff.

There's another called equibase IPP that let's you buy pps for both tbred and harness.

So, when you buy a card from the app, do you just pay through ITUNES, the way you would when you buy a song, without needing to set up a separate account?

Not sure about how charges are handled. I have only worked with the included demos.

Their not that new on the Android side not sure of Ipad.

I tried the TM it they didn't even have a valid credit card from me and let me download it. Contacted them and they said it needed to hit a certain number before they charged it. Might be a little off exactly what they told me but it's along those lines. Felt guilty so I transferred five bucks from paypal into TM and haven't used it since.

It will let you download a PP chart and something else. The charts are PDF you can transfer it on a desktop. Here's what it looks like.

I downloaded one for Yonkers. It cost $1.99. It does go through ITUNES. Just click on the program for the track and date you want. The ITUNES password box appears. Enter your pw and your good to go.

Apple, once again, showing how it should be done.
