Started to read the kindle version.
Long read.
but I was struck a fact that was written by Barry is I already knew with myself.
the obvious goal of making big money at the racetrack is not goal that I have set for myself. Rather my goal is to make money every year.

You should be able to read it right on your monitor, laptap, etc.

Has anyone seen any indication that there will be a hard copy version?

Go directly to the publisher's site.... http://www.trpublishing.com/
"Barry Meadow has the answers. In his new 445-page hardcover book, The Skeptical Handicapper: Using Data and Brains to Win at the Racetrack, he’ll show you what he’s uncovered from analyzing the results of every race run in the U.S. and Canada between 2014 and 2017, a total of 168,227 races."
Order directly from TR Publishing and Barry Meadow will personally autograph your copy, and pay your shipping costs as well. The Skeptical Handicapper: Using Data and Brains to Win at the Racetrack, is $37.99.
Here's the intro to the book....Good read in itself:

Yes, Amazon has an app for the PC. I don't have a Kindle but have over 200 Kindle books on my laptop.

I just downloaded from Amazon. I don't use Amazon often but I logged in and it said buy with one click. So I did and I had purchased it. It turns out I had a balance on a gift card so it used that and it was instant. Lots of info but without having read everything I would still have to recommend just as reference guide. Looks like it will help separate what I "might" believe with what is true. I was concerned that I would have to be logged in to Amazon or something to read it but it downloaded to my PC and I just open it and it opens the Kindle app. Thanks for all the input.

I haven't used my Kindle for PC in a long time, now, I cannot open the program.
I downloaded and new copy of the app and ran it, but I get nothing created.
All that gets set up is a blank folder called Amazon.
Is there something I am missing here?
I also noticed a couple of Kindle books I bought before are no long showing as available.
My impressions of Kindle are not good at all. I would have bought the book, but screw Amazon at this point, I'll support Barry. One thing about old technology, like printed stuff - it never freaking FAILS.

My wife got me the book and downloaded to kindle.
Than I went to the kindle app and told her “it’s not there”
She’s says go to the top and there is a tab called “downloaded” and there it was.
Duh.

I haven't bought it - can't get the Kindle reader to even open anymore.
I've wasted enough time in Kindle.
Personally, I have no use for anything not a PDF or a hard copy.
Too much internal BS to bother with.
Kindle added nothing to the value of the book itself, so screw them.

Interesting Tom
I've used kindle for android and as of last fall it worked great.
I have many friends who have a kindle and they love it. Maybe that's the way to go?
I see that the latest kindle for PCs is version 2.? Is that what you're using?

No way to tell - can't open the program. The one I have used before on this computer was from 2014. I downloaded the latest from Amazon for PC and that one never does anything but create an empty file. Downloaded it again, same result.
The App was free, so I got my money's worth. Worth every cent.
