BRIS vs DRF PPs question

Can someone please enlighten me as to the time frame on the "today's race angles" stats in BRIS vs. the time frame on the similar stats that show in DRF PPs (the very bottom line of the PP cut)?

For example, I'm looking at a trainer in BRIS whose first time starter stats show 24 starts, an 8% win, with a -0.53 ROI.

The same trainer/same entry in DRF PPs shows 14 starters, a 14% win percentage and a $2.51 ROI.

Obviously these are different time frames. Anyone know what they are?

(For specific reference, I cited horse #7 Race 1 on 8/15 at EvD)

I took a look at Friday's and Sat/15th Bris Ultimate (don't have DRF) for EVD. Not sure the math even works for the stats to just be different time frames--think DRF (or Bris) just has info from the wrong horse...it happens. I looked @ TODAY'S 1st race just to check---the 7 horse is a Broberg/Hernandez deal...nothing about the "Bro" is 14%, so not his info transposed. Anyway, shaker--Good luck. Not even gonna inquire why you have a DRF and Bris PP's, sure you have your reasons Take care.

This according to the bris 'key trainer stats'

" The trainer’s record with race angles that pertain to today’s race (Number of starts, percentage of winners,
percentage of in the money finishes, and ROI of return on investment for every $2.00 wagered). The statistics in this
category cover the last three years"

I don't know about DRF looks like 1 year

Don't ever use BRIS

features. They are garbage . your better off using a basic program.

My favorite topic.
They provide all these features. well let me tell you the,

1. The summary page, what's the purpose of N/A for a horse that has starts?

2. They're PP number are inaccurate for all races except the Grade 1 and 2's.

3. I've started using BRIS 12 years ago. I recall they advertised that the Horse with a PP greater than 3 won like 40% or something of the races. well there's a reason you don't see that ad anymore.

4.They try to sumarize their data and are wrong most of the time.

5. How does 128.3 128.1 127.6 help me?

6. They do not list claiming and purses prices of the last 10 races

7. They have average EP2/EP4 and Late, but they don't include all the races.
if a horse is first time on turf or going a new distance, forget it he just disappears off the summary page with a N/A.

Basically BRIS just adds more confusion to handicapping. Years ago, I called them to complain about the summary page because my program loved the early speed of a Horse in a turf race but he was first time on Turf. BRIS gave the Horse a big fat N/A. The horse won at 10-1. I called BRIS to ask why they omitted him from their summary page and they said "that's gambling" Same problem happens at distances. They just drop the Horse from their Summary page. You dont believe me, count the number of Horses with a N/A on the Summary page that win, and when they win they win big.

Try using premium pp's with their pp generator.

I simplify my pp's by deleting the pace figures, I use raw times instead and convert to pace figures myself. I delete the company line.

I add the drf speed and variant and purse of the race.

I only print and use what's important to me, and eliminate what's not.

You can adjust and modify to your specs.
