Cal tracks are in high definition.
I understand they provide HD feeds on other streaming devices. So why can't they provide the same feed on the DTV platform which I already pay for?

I would imagine the money DTV charges for the HD feed is more than they are willing to pay, or DTV/DISH just wont give them one.

its archaic, and shows the ineptitude of racings leadership they cant even broadcast in tech that is at least 20 years old.

On my TV in the computer room, two feet away from me, the new graphics are great. In the other room, 10-12 feet away, I can't see crap- mostly all white, a touch of yellow.

Did New York change its graphics for the Belmont (and now Saratoga) meet? It seems that the odds and changes/scratches have been reduced in size and have lesser impact. I prefer how laurel (though the scroll with changes is slow) and Gulfstream emphasizes the odds and any rider changes or scratches.

I have asked other track goers and they seem to agree and routinely get closer to the larger TV screens. Out of curiosity, what simulcast feeds are popular with members here based on the info provided not so much the broadcast of the race.
