I thought Thursday was pretty speed favoring. When looking at biases I was taught maidens don’t really count. 3 of the 4 maiden races that day were wide jobs. Not sure how much that really counts though, 3 of the other 5 races were wire jobs as well.

I guess it also depends on whether we’re talking about speed or direct speed.

You and I agree right on the number for total races at 97 I have slightly more entrants at 769.



The Morning Line Favorites have been doing quite well on a Fast surface in Stakes races going back to August of last year.

Looks like the rain should clear out of Saratoga Springs by around 3:00 so turf racing today should be okay. Inner turf rail still at 9 feet, Mellon turf rail moved out to 18 feet.

I totally missed it today!!!
