The courtroom scenes are almost all in French, the rest of it is in English

I highly recommend a movie that has everything you could want for some superb entertainment.
It has it all: romance, suspense, star crossed lovers and supernatural illusions.
And it’s capped off with a surprise ending that’s excellent!
Edward Norton is perfectly cast as Eisenheim:
The Illusionist

Re-watched Doctor Sleep last night and found it a bit better than I remembered, at least until the climax. While I like the concept of Danny Torrance luring the queen bad guy to "his turf"-the by then abandoned Overlook Hotel-the showdown quickly devolved to an aimless wandering of haunted halls, and the inevitable encounter between adult Danny and his long dead daddy fell surprisingly flat.
The movie's not so submerged theme of pedophilia could also have been crafted into something just a bit scarier and unsettling. But at that point mom or dad can't take the kiddies, I guess.

The Iron Claw wasn't bad.
Not the greatest movie, but worth a watch.
Crazy story to put on film, and while not excellently done, still hits a bit home.

I actually liked Chip Wooley despite the hoops he and the owners required me to jump through. And I don't blame him, only myself for the incident. When I asked if it was cool to go back and look at the horse, he could have given me a heads up. But I've worked around some tuff thoroughbreds and could see right away that MTB was one nasty little prick, so no way I should have attempted to put his halter on. Wooley was SO accommodating, in fact, and things were so quiet that lazy August afternoon in the stakes barn that I decided to get the horse out for a minute or two so the group of intrepid officials I'd led back there could have a good look at a KY Derby winner.
Bad idea. Very bad. But I still have love for the horse. Getting him will always stand as the highlight of my career.

I just finished watching a free sports documentary on Amazon Prime. GIANNIS The Marvelous Journey....the amazing story of Giannis Antetokounmpo. I knew that he is a great player...but I didn't know that he is an even better human being. It's an amazing movie that brought tears to my eyes, and motivated me to work towards becoming a better human being myself. My highest recommendation!
