I think the rail curse is overrated provided the horse breaks well. It's still the shortest path around the track. It didn't hurt Looking at Lee last year. We have not exactly had a plethora of chalks draw the post.

Ferdinand won in 86 out of the 1 hole, might be the last time anyone has won from there. He also might be the last non lasix winner. Bold Arrangement ran a solid second that year coming over from England and was also lasix free.

Winning Colors was not in the 1 hole if I remember right, some middle post.
