Stop...
The main defense if you follow this line is that he's not corrupt he's just an idiot.
Nixon now has a equal... fortunately Trump's people protected him.

Basic take away:
Collusion: Yeah it happened but collusion isn't a crime.
Obstruction: Yes... but because people refused to obey his orders... yes/no/maybe?

So bottom line, give us your expected chain of events in the wake of this confusing tome(only skimmed a few dozen pages). I personally have no clue, except it's all I expect to hear on all the networks into next election and beyond.

Exactly what I was thinking - he can't even wait a couple of hours before he makes up stuff about it.
Here's the deal - embarrassing is not the standard here.
Unable to exonerate him is not the standard here.
There was no collusion and no one can even prove anything was obstructed.
Given the fact that he was found to have not colluded, much of the obstruction stuff is now irrelevant.

In a normal or somewhat less partisan world... this would move the needle.
Congress would have no other option than to impeach on grounds of conduct. Republicans, some not all, would turn against the President and he would likely step down.
In today's world? Probably nothing.
This is really really really damning:
Quote:
"The President’s efforts to influence the investigation were mostly unsuccessful, but that is largely because the persons who surrounded the President declined to carry out orders or accede to his requests."

Maybe the most error filled post you’ve ever authored.
Read the law. Better yet, read case law on both issues.
First of all, if you think they gave Trump a break, you’re nuts. They knew they couldn’t make a case in the courts, on either issue.
Wasted time, wasted money.

I'm reading the law.
Its cited in there. Had Trump's orders been followed he would most certainly have committed obstruction of justice.
Please link your sources... Mr. "DJT is coming out smelling like a rose..........."
PS) My ultimate conclusion that the President is a ****ing idiot seems to have borne fruit.

Also not interested in hearing anything regarding Russia wasn't all in on Trump...
Can we stop minimizing the effort?

Nothing there show Trump did anything.
Remember the Match Game?
Trump BLANKED on June 30, 2016.

I didn't say anything in that post about Trump doing something.
It was directed at the numerous arguments I've had with people here minimizing the Russian effort to get Trump elected.
Russia being all in on the Donald is something I've said for two years... and its been argued here... now we can stop arguing it.
I was correct.
