on Earth Day DeBlasio outlined his plans to outlaw steel and glass in skyscrapers as they are inefficient and just not green enough.
It also seems the new green deal requires all buildings to meet certain energy efficiency standards ... I can't wait.

Huge fine for those who do not retrofit within 5 years!
Better watch out for the mass exodus of businesses out of NYC.
This guy is a total moron.
And he is considering running in 2020.

People are fleeing already:
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...graphic-trends
Newly available Census Bureau population estimates indicate the Big Apple’s population is getting smaller for the second year in a row.
Plus tax revenues for the state are down, a real harbinger of bad times ahead, if Baby Doc Cuomo hadn't done a few tricks such as raiding an insurance surplus things would be even worse:

(Recent Pay Site)
https://nypost.com/2019/02/04/cuomo-...opped-by-2-3b/
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday that state income tax revenues plummeted by $2.3 billion since he introduced his new budget plan last month — a bombshell that will force him to curb spending.

NYS - where small time crooks become big time crooks.
The state of fools.

Wow, that's harsh.
The fact is, it wasn't politically opportunistic enough for him to be happy that bad-for-the-environment skyscrapers fell on 9/11, so he wasn't harboring such thoughts.
He's not a forward thinker. He blows with the political winds.

Your last sentence has 4 too many words in it.

If I could find something affordable I’d move in a heartbeat.

Where the hell did you get the notion that I was describing a buddy? I gave you some characteristics of two ex-presidents (and one wife) based on what it was like to meet and talk with them in person. This isn't De Gaulle's France or Stalin's Russia. You're entitled to one vote just like other eligible citizens. Vote for whomever meets your stringent standards. Or go help on the campaign. I'm sure they'd be happy for the involvement.

I never met Hillary. If I never do it won't bother me.
You're right. Bill had a gift for charming the people he met and talked with. That didn't excuse him for Monica Lewinsky or whatever else angered some people. We're all aware of his dalliances, but that's water under the bridge. At this point, I'm just worried about the future.

No reason to be. The world was supposed to end once Trump was elected. We're all still here and doing pretty well to boot.
Massive fear overreaction = unwarranted
