Unfortunately, ESPN will "censor" what he can and cannot say....so, while the show is probably going to be entertaining, he's just a mouthpiece echoing what corporate wants him to say.

KO is the most worthless POS to have ever graced the network of espn in my lifetime; he brings zero to any discussion.

Used to love him and Patrick way back when on Sports Center, but he has proven himself to be a complete nut in the political realm, thus a lot of appeal has been lost.

I doubt he will be very popular

I don't know. Erik Kuselias isn't far behind. He's a dirtbag as well as far as I'm concerned.

Been a few months since his return to the sports realm, and I gotta admit I really like him as a sportscaster....I always did.
What can I say - dude makes me laugh.

Initially it was Chris Berman, but what Patrick and Olbermann did on SportsCenter changed the way guys call highlights, host their sports shows, etc...and not all of it for the good.

All three injected comedy into their broadcasts, and almost broke the cardinal rule of journalism; making the story about you instead of the news at hand.
Unfortunately, many have come along who do nothing but wisecrack and try to set up jokes instead of calling the highlights or announcing the sports news of the day.

Oddly, I have had enough of Berman and Patrick, but not Olbermann.

Berman's greatest nickname hits:
Bert 'be in' Blyleven
Greg 'mathe' Maddux
Harold 'growing' Baines
Roberto 'remember the' Alomar
Jeff 'see thru' Blauser
Mike 'leggo' Gallego

and a favorite of mine:
Dante 'money talks and' Bichette walks

My favorite Berman nickname...which he came up with when Dennis Eckersley was at the tail-end of his career.

Dennis "Upper D-eckersley".

Has Vegas established an over/under on how long he lasts before self-destructing?

i tried to watch his program, thinking maybe it would harken back to the days of when I liked him as a sportscaster.

But i'm not going to lie, all I can think of watching and listening to him is how smarmy and condescending he is and his politics just ooze out of him, even when he's not talking politics.

I tried, but I just can't stomach him. Probably says more about me than him, but whatever.

I can't handle watching him either. He reminds me of some kid starved for attention. Throw in the fact that his points of view don't pass the smell test and uh......nope, ain't gonna happen.

I have tried to watch him but he keeps getting preempted by something running long in my time zone.

Whenever Berman is on ESPN its an insta-change for me. That guy sucks at life. I think the only two nicknames I liked that Berman gave were to the Patriots TE years ago... Ben "Winter" Coates and the WR from the Browns... Michael "He He" Jackson.
