Your last sentence reads very well. Wishing people to die is a good look.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Did I say that... if so would just be returning the love received over the last four years... So we can only hope you have a juicy chunk of turkey, trimming and then pie.

Interesting rationalization. At least have the balls to own it, ya know?

You are right and Ontherail is wrong. SHOCKER! EC votes for Biden Harris as a team. Should Biden die, Harris becomes President elect and takes office on Jan 20 at noon. Section 2 of the 25th Amendment states “Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President , the president shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both houses of Congress.
Obviously, Harris could only do this after taking the oath of office.

Not only is it not a good look, but it shows an abysmal ignorance of the Constitution.

It turns out the DNC has the power to name a new nominee if the president elect dies before the electoral college votes. However I strongly believe they would simply choose the VP candidate or leave Biden name on the ballot. Since the electors are pledged to the Biden Harris ticket, they would vote that way.

Your a bit ass backwards on that... nothing new there. It does not take place till sworn in.. how can they swear in a dead man?
Quote:
Democratic National Committee (DNC) would have the ability to name a replacement candidate and pressure the electors currently committed to Biden to support them instead. Presumably, although not necessarily, the new candidate would be Biden’s vice president Kamala Harris
If he were to die between the electoral college vote but before the early January congressional certification, members of congress have an opportunity to object to the electoral results in any state
|
Like I said your ass backwards and wrong...
