Used to catch the tail end of his show on my way to work at 4am. I also bought his book around 1997.

Ah yes - worked 3-11pm and stayed up to listen.
Worked a few 11-7 shifts and had the radio on in the office.
Used to drive up to the top of a nearby hill on the lake at night to listen to Larry King from NY, too.
The good old days.

Who doesn't know Art Bell? Listened to him maybe a handful of times...don't know why I didn't listen to him more, as his crazy stuff was right up my alley...caught some of his replays on the web of stuff that interested me...

I spent many hours in a police car on 3rd shift listening to him.
Larry King out of Florida back in the day was a pretty damn good show too. Used to listen to him on a transistor radio while walking a Security job at a mall on third shift.

Larry King had Moe Howard on one night - ab9ut 15 of us drove up the hill to try to catch the show. Beer, of course, on tap.

Had to listen at the beginning of the show to hear Giorgio Moroder's terrific "Chase" theme from the "Midnight Express" film soundtrack. Art Bell

I knew who he was but I really didn't listen because of the hour day. One time, I must have been on vacation, was driving late at nght and heard about John Titor, probably not this show but similar, still remember:
