In my Handicapping 101 Class I am taking in college, our Professor said, "Don't bet favorites all the time - that is a sure way to lose you ass."

However I couldn't help notice that the Future odds on this horse, Jackie's Warrior, are 3-1.

Are these serious odds posted recently? Yaupon is retired, Nashville has been MIA all of 2021. In all likelihood Jackie's Warrior is going to be a big favorite in the sprint, 3-1 would seem like a gift if he enters the starting gate.



Which college is offering this handicapping course? Although obviously intertwined, important to remember handicapping & betting are 2 different skill sets.

It's BetAnySports - they used to be called 5 Dimes. They still have Gufo listed in the Filly/Mare race, and as you mentioned they still have Nashville and Yaupon listed in the Sprint, good grief.

Jackie's Warrior's odds have DROPPED to 2-1 as of this morning.

I wagered at 3-1 Tuesday night. I'm pretty sure my wager didn't cause the odds drop so someone else in here must have plunged a lot more than I did, lol.
