Just wanted to get everyones money before cancelling.
stupid. I wasted money buying the card and handicapping for a couple hours, first time in weeks.
Tired of wasting my time and money on this "sport".

DRF's Jim Dunleavy reports jockeys are meeting to decide whether they will ride as heat index reaches 108 degrees.

I ended my workout with 4 mtp to get in my first tourney pick..33 minutes later..they haven't started yet..What the hell are they doing? Discuss this at 10am, not at post time..

they are saying on TVG this was coming from New Jersey and not the riders.

alright, better late than never ... on the track 12:30something
annoying that we get like '1-minute' post-parade/warm-up for the 1st after their delay...
saved me a ~$5 loss on a quick pick-5 ...

I think the riders were meeting, so it's not inaccurate, but management was probably hoping they'd cancel and give them an out. Obviously the pressure to cancel is not coming from jockeys trying to avoid running for big purse money...
