Right now, I am head down and tail up working on the new book. Once I get that done I'll go back to building some cool videos.
Not by Thanksgiving, but definitely well before Christmas.
Oh, and 2022 Pars will be out in January.

Been really digging into the 2012 version the last few months, along with Reynolds numbers. 
Our phone call last fall has inspired me to investigate.

I too was at that session in Ceasars. I remember meeting you Speed Figure. You were a pretty sophisticated player as I recall.

We also met Red Knave while we were there as well, but that was coincidental.
Funny thing... we were there on a comp from Don Johnson to see Celine Dion. I would not have walked across the street to see her but Beth wanted to go, so I went.
The show as just fantastic. Literally the best stage show I ever saw.
The tickets were crazy expensive, too.
Gotta say that Don Johnson is one of my favorite people.

Interesting article about how Magnus Carlsen tries to turn a game of chess into something the more computer oriented players won’t be comfortable with so he can use his “human” edge to beat them.
It’s not exactly comparable to competing with the computer guys in racing, but we can search for race situations where we know the computer guys have more difficulty.

Where exactly would the computer be placed at a disadvantage against its human counterpart? Being unemotional in its betting is the computer's biggest advantage, IMO...and none of us mere mortals can adequately compete with that.

Computers are stupid. They don't do what you want them to do, just what you tell them to do. So if things aren't coded they are missed by the computer. However, machine learning is changing the game (again), so maybe there's no chance for us mere flesh-covered mortals.

If the "stupid computer" can teach itself enough about chess to beat a Garry Kasparov...then the human expert horseplayer is in big trouble, IMO.
