As good as Tiger looked, the other leaders choked as well. That was amazing watching Keopka, Molinari, and Finau all hit the ball in the water and double bogey at 12.

I just finished watching on DVR as I had a family commitment. I know, I must not be a real golf fan choosing family over golf.
Wow, incredible!!!! I was very happy.

I don't think Tiger's childhood was like most other people. I think maybe Tiger needed "the idiot years" to figure out what he missed. After the injuries and the surgeries and everyone taking shots at him, he picked himself up, got his health back, and at least for the last four day he looked like the old Tiger, except perhaps a little wiser and more humble.
When he became injured we realized just how human he was. He did a ton of work to put himself in a position to play competitive golf again. You've got to give the guy a lot of credit. At an age when most golfers are just killing time until they were eligible for the senior tour, he won a major.
Like him or not, he showed a lot of fortitude. I'm happy it turned out the way it did.

Tiger grew up with a drill sergeant father to make him the best.
He was to change the World. And kind of did in '97.
He then went on a tear we haven't ever seen in the 2000's till he got injured, and then Waffle Housed.
He has a darkness. He has many an enemy.
Been a decade, or so, and he picked up the pieces.
The King is back, and he can beat 'em all again when it matters.

I was on that crowded bandwagon rooting against him for a few years, but eventually saw how much he had lost.
That's when I started rooting for him again.
When he put on the green jacket, the smile on his face said that it was all worth it.
Anyone looking for a role model should look his way.
Did he screw up? Absolutely.
Did he show himself to be unworthy? Yes.
But he's worked to change.
Go Tiger.
