Pfizer’s experimental coronavirus vaccine is highly effective and poses no safety risks that would prevent it from being cleared for emergency use, Food and Drug Administration scientists said Tuesday.
FDA staffers detailed their findings in a 53-page report ahead of a Thursday meeting at which the agency’s vaccine advisory committee will consider Pfizer’s application for an emergency use authorization, which could pave the way for millions of high-risk Americans to be inoculated by the end of the year.
The FDA analysis of data from Pfizer’s large-scale clinical trial involving roughly 44,000 people affirmed the Manhattan-based drugmaker’s finding that the shot was 95 percent effective at preventing COVID-19 infection after two doses. The scientists also found the vaccine was similarly effective regardless of the recipient’s age, gender, race or ethnicity and among people with underlying medical issues that put them at risk for severe coronavirus infections.

Pfizer is still getting rave reviews, this time from their publicity department:
The COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and partnering biotechnology company BioNTech has proven “highly effective” against the coronavirus — including variants — for at least six months after full inoculation.
The two companies announced on Thursday that the latest phase of testing — which includes an analysis of 927 confirmed symptomatic cases of COVID-19, and 46,307 trial participants total — showed the vaccine to be 91.3% effective against transmission.
In terms of “severe” illness and death, the vaccine is 95%, and up to 100%, effective, according to definitions set by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Also, data from more than 12,000 recipients of Pfizer’s vaccine demonstrates the shot’s safety for a vast majority.

Video: DARPA Is Working On COVID Vaccine, Implantable Microchip To Detect Virus
“You put it underneath your skin and what that tells you is that there are chemical reactions going on inside the body”
That's nice.

Hepburn also declared that DARPA has developed a filter to remove the virus from the blood via a dialysis machine, and that the FDA has approved it, and it has already been used on 300 patients.

Does there ever come the point where...people actually think for a second...and say to themselves..."I think we're kinda going overboard here."
If only they had put this much effort into AIDS when people were dropping dead all over the place back in the 80s.
But AIDS probably was an agenda all its own...so sad.

Not out of the woods, not at all.
The global coronavirus pandemic is still growing exponentially, the World Health Organization said on Monday, as it reported 4.4m cases in the last week, the seventh straight week of rising numbers.
The latest global figures represent a 9% increase in infections on last week and a 5% rise in deaths.
As lockdown restrictions were eased in England, the WHO’s director general, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said “confusion, complacency and inconsistency in public health measures” were prolonging the pandemic.

Of course, we're "not out of the woods" yet. Wasn't the entire point behind masks to slow it down? Is this slow enough for you yet?

The people that have enough food and water and keep themselves locked in their home with an independent air filtration system should be alright.

U.S. Calls for Pause on Johnson & Johnson Vaccine After Rare Clotting Cases
The Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control will stop using the vaccine at federal sites and urge states to do so as well while they examine the safety issues.

Don't worry though...the experts here on off-topic have told me everything is perfectly safe related to these vaccines.
