How reliable are the fractions at Kentucky Downs?

I don't examine them closely too often.

I saw a couple that seemed like they "could be" off, but not extreme enough to be sure. The main one I'm interested in this.

9/12 9th race

21.79
46.50
110.84
117.31

It looked like there was plenty of speed in the race, but the difference between the 1st quarter and half seems a little off especially compared to the 8th race. Just double checking.

It is a GPS system. They aren't counting the times as track records or there would be several set already. I think there are probably some issues to work out.

Thanks. I'll just ignore the fractions and watch the races.

Trakus acting so bad they had to remove it from the feed and the final time on the feed was off by 11.14 seconds.

Sunday at Aqueduct there were at least four races that had timing errors including all three races on the outer turf course

1/13/21, Parx Race #3. Is there any way the times are correct in this race?

I'll check it out tonight, but the track does look VERY slow today.

Looks about right to me. I gave her a 55 which is what she earned three back.

I know they went very slow early in the Gr3 Wonder Again (R8 at Belmont on Thurs, June 3) but did 3yo fillies really go the last 3/8 in 32.98 !?
That seems very fast, esp over a less than firm turf course.

That means Plum Ali, who gained 5.5 lengths in that last fraction, came home in about 32.30

It is being addressed by Equibase. All the inner races that day had issues.

Distance of R7 at Tampa yesterday changed to "about" 1 mile 40 yards after the gate was placed incorrectly, race is actually shorter than original listed distance. Race was also hand timed. It was the only two turn race on the card so not sure it means all that much anyway.

NYRA has a convoluted process for changing times, so in case that doesn't happen I'll inform that R1 on Friday at Belmont was ~0.89 seconds too slow at every call, R7 ~0.45 seconds too slow at every call, and R8 opening 1/4 malfunctioned but I get ~23.49 from video. I have passed it on to Equibase and I know they try to get it done.

This thread has a lot of value if you have a DB frim charts files. It might get corrected at EB but we are still using bad data.
