If you have an owners license you can attend for free (there was some question about that). Previously you had to have a horse running to get in free. I was told that same rule was in place and that if you wanted to attend on a day one if your horses was not running you had to pay like everyone else. But I have since learned you can attend for fee. Just make sure you are a NYTHA member. You can register free if you have an owner's license if you aren't already registered.

To our Members,

Yesterday, we forwarded a NYRA Press Release announcing that Belmont will re-open to ticketed spectators effective on Saturday, May 1, 2021 and for live race days thereafter.

We are pleased to report that an update has been made and NYTHA Members are indeed able to reserve their ticket for entry to Belmont Park at no cost by contacting the NYRA Box Office directly.

We are grateful that NYRA is able to accommodate our Members just as they have in the past.

I like the way monmouth handles it.

Free admission. Free parking.

Belmont Stakes, at this point, will be 33% capacity, approximately 11,000 ticketed spectators. Could go up if capacity limits increase prior to the Belmont Stakes.

Full capacity announced for Mets and Yankees games if fully vaccinated, can't see why horse racing wouldn't follow. Certainly more spread out at the track.
