Favorite Sire and Dam's Progeny

After seeing the first race at Belmont Park's result . I needed to start this
thread.
Seems like yesterday we watched and waited for Eskendereya to make
his way to the top then unfortunately injury and early retirement .

In todays first race a 6f turf MSW . Eskenformoney favorite gets fourth
place . Race is won by Isabella Sings . Both fillys trained by Pletcher and
both sired by Eskendereya . Very cool ! His first crop is here and starting
off nicely !

I'm sure this was by design for Team Pletcher, but based on watching many of the 2 yr olds by Eskendereya at the 2 yr old in training sales, I would be surprised if leads the nation.

It seems like Lookin at Lucky might be the leader this year, and perhaps next year when the races get longer he will have more success then Lucky.

Indeed Lookin At Lucky has first time winners at multiple tracks , including
one in Russia .

First-year sire Warrior's Reward has had five starters and all of them have won MSW races, and at 5 different tracks. Two of them have come back to make their next starts in stakes, and both have run second.

Considering what I can find of his first crop it's not that big , so this is very impressive . Unbridled Reward is one of them that ran well in a stakes race .

According to the Bloodhorse he has 104 in his 1st crop, so he was very well received by breeders.

I watched quite a few nice Super Saver's train this spring, I would think he will have something to say before the end of the year. It would be nice to have a Derby winner turn into a breeding success in this country.

A nice boost for Sea The Stars .

Unbeaten Sea The Moon won the 145th Deutsches Derby (Ger-I) in a dazzling performance under Christophe Soumillon, cruising alone on the stands' side rail at Hamburg to an 11-length triumph July 6.

The highly touted colt, a homebred of Gestut Gorlsdorf, was geared down in the final furlong after setting the pace in the 2,400-meter (about 1 1/2-mile) race and won with stunning authority.

I had seen his breeze in Florida, I was thinking he might need longer, so he will be interesting this fall with a debut like his today.

I really liked the way Today's Agenda worked for the sale, I am kind of surprised he didn't show more speed. Perhaps he wasn't quite ready, you never know with 2 yr old.

This win was good for his Dam . Looks like her first foal and this gal was
definitely a durable sprinter . Broodmare sire is Capetown . We have to
see how far Super Saver can take him lol .

Edited to add Dam is Magdalena's Chase !

I would have to agree, I was thinking about posting about super savers til I saw yours. A lot of his babies are doing well, another successful one right now is silver city, idk if its his first crop or not tho
