Epigenetics has been shown to be a bigger factor than genetics. No doubt that there are some genetic factors that cannot be avoided. I doubt that it is a very large percentage.

Agree.
My mom smoked. Died of lung cancer. Tragic. Very tragic. But it was her choice
My dad lived until he was 85, had taken care of himself almost by necessity (wounds from WWII that affected his health until he died). Doctors gave him 6 months to live after he was wounded in 1944.
Most of us choose our destiny with health, to a point. As hcap mentioned at some point late in life the body breaks down. But fact is, most of us decide our health prior to late stages. Just go to mcdonalds and look at the clientele. Not many fit people there
Same for smoking or over eating, it's a choice. You fully know the risks.
Good health has its rewards. It's no secret how to get there. Some aren't as fortunate, but for the great majority of us, it's up to the individual to live a healthy life... or else
https://www.cdc.gov/genomics/disease/epigenetics.htm
Epigenetics is the study of how your behaviors and environment can cause changes that affect the way your genes work. Unlike genetic changes, epigenetic changes are reversible and do not change your DNA sequence, but they can change how your body reads a DNA sequence.
Gene expression refers to how often or when proteins are created from the instructions within your genes. While genetic changes can alter which protein is made, epigenetic changes affect gene expression to turn genes “on” and “off.” Since your environment and behaviors, such as diet and exercise, can result in epigenetic changes, it is easy to see the connection between your genes and your behaviors and environment.

Taking proper care of ourselves does not necessarily mean a long and healthy life for us...but it significantly improves our odds towards that end. In this chaotic world of ours...that's about as much as we could hope for, IMO.

Thank you. Not sure it’s class or integrity, but we pride ourselves on always “doing what’s right” sometimes it’s cost us extra money, but it seems to pay off in the long run. We also brought a bunch of services in house (Maint. And cleaning mostly) and turned that money that used to go to outside companies inward to my employees. We saved a little but they are happy to earn it.

For anyone who may not know who Chris Martenson is he has been producing these videos on a regular basis since the beginning of the pandemic. Content is anthema to some, but he does provide a thorough discussion/interpretation of his viewpoint.

If this were an honest playing field all along, I'd say no.
But since it's not, we'll never know the truth.
Nothing about COVID has been honest since day one...and lately, it seems that it's only gotten worse.
So I don't really care much anymore, to be honest.
Nobody else seems to care (see CA Governor Gavin Newsom, SF Mayor London Breed, Austin Tx Mayor Steve Adler...etc...etc...), so why the **** should I?
BTW, ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE DEMOCRATS. NONE OF THEM ARE NAMED TRUMP.
HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS?

I guess they really know that COVID isn't all that scary...they don't even follow their own rules.
Why should they? A cucker would never act the part of a cuck.
PS. You're the cuck.

The very fact I told you back in March it would get much much worse as mainstream epidemiologist had said, proves they were correct. You kept telling me, internatiol deaths would never climb above 600k.
Coronavirus Cases:
66,294,914
view by country
Deaths:
1,525,704
......................................
You are correct some government officials are hypocrites, but their stupidity and lying does not disprove close to 3.00 Americans are dying daily.
