Rebuild rechargeable battery

My batteries on my cordless drill are dead. I can buy new ones, but I'd prefer to be able to rebuild the ones I've got.

Does anyone know if they can be rebuilt and if so, where?

Thanks.

Try a froogle search. Usually a rebuild is not practical, but aftermarket replacements are often available. There are lots of battery specialty businesses.

It's been my experience that it's often better to buy a new drill. Watch for sales and you can get a new drill with two batteries for not much more than a replacement battery.
