what is turning this whole thing around is just betting only the favorite on top of selected place horses.
so far when my Favorite calculated win % is <30%, the return/ bet size =$0.54 and the $1 return (when all bet sizes sum to $100) is $0.59
expected winners = 10, actual winners = 11 in 42 races.
so far when my Favorite calculated win % is >=30 the return/ bet size =$1.15 and the $1 return (when all bet sizes sum to $100) is $1.27
expected winners = 38, actual winners = 41 in 93 races.
