I didn't even bet the race today, but I heard from several that did.

That said, generally no, but there are times I do if I think the horse can run on dirt. This horse certainly had dirt breeding and had not tried it before.

Another one I like is dirt horses trying turf for the first time that have the best late speed rating.

maybe speed will finally hold?

3,4 are both usually later runners, taking lot of win $

Another day another 10+ morning line horse at Sar who goes off as one of the favorites.

I know Stone is a super nice guy who has been on the boards for years but this is happening a lot.

Apparently the best jockey is the one who (like an NFL running back) creates his own hole.

In R4... that turned out to be Manny Franco.

Betting the speed and fade second time starter, the 6 in the 5th. Maybe the 1 is the goods but it seems a bit odd the way the horse is being bet (i would expect him to get hammerd if the word was out)

want to build a pick-3 to the 8th race(Syndergaard goes down).

Nothing really great.
wins with a good setup, but he doesn't add much to the ticket in terms of value.

Have to go lean here 8 x 168 x 23

sidenote - desperado is interesting underneath in a superfecta.
