There were huge hurricanes in the 1800ís.

Must have been caused by all that steam from steam engines

Just like all of those 200 year old homes in those affected areas that got destroyed. I hear Michael Dale Huckabee's new house he just built did not get a scratch, and he was in the middle of it.

We are sending a truck with supplies there next week. Collecting donations at a couple of venues my better half plays at. Easy to donate online at Red Cross or Salvation Army. it's pretty ugly.

This unfortunately brings up a pet peeve of mine...Charities...I'll make it real simple...look at what the chairman of the Red Cross vs Salvation Army makes....the difference is SICKENING...so which one ACTUALLY gets MORE to the victims...

Salvation Army does a much better job...for those who don't want to look it up.....

Yes for sure. I got scolded for mentioning the Red Cross earlier today by the GF....lol..

There seems to be a huge Salvation Army presence.

If the polar ice caps melt Florida will be underwater (except for a small area near Orlando I believe). I hope I'm around to see it.

I hope I'm around to see that, as well.

I'm 70' above sea level here; maybe I'll have oceanfront property!

I'm only 3.8 miles from the ocean as the crow flies.

Anybody know a good real estate agent?.

From Florida State University....A source more familiar with your state than you are.

Climate Change
Climate Change Basics for the Southeast USA (from AgroClimate)

"Warming of the climate system is unequivocal, as is now evident from observations of increases in global average air and ocean temperatures, widespread melting of snow and ice, and rising global average sea level.

https://climatecenter.fsu.edu/topics/climate-change

It's about time you shoved your ifs up your buts

Yes, yes, Mr. Scare Monger, the sky has been falling now for how many decades? And how many 10-year warnings have we had? How many 10-year warnings have come and gone? How many 10-year warning have been epic fails? How many false doom & gloom prophets have bit the dust?

You and your doom-saying prophets are pathetic, brainwashed meatheads.

You know zero, zilch about science.
Post on the "Climate Change" thread and maybe learn something.

I do not want to post here just for you, one anti-science PA delusional make-it-up-as-you-go-along "expert" who claims to know more than the climatologists at Florida State University.

Why can't you admit your lack of a scientific education?
