Policing is pointless.
Resisting arrest is no longer prosecuted, so everyone resists.
You will end up losing your job and possibly getting arrested should you hurt criminals while they are fighting against you.

Looks as if a lot of garbage was dumped along the way. Maybe LA County has run out of room do dump their shit. No train robbery would result in such a long massive mess.
The county needs a wall around it like Berlin had. Its worse than a 3rd world country in itself.

So, who do you suppose the majority of these thieves are?

Reprehensible trespassers just biding their time until they become honorary U.S. citizens, I would guess.

The article said the trains had to slow down in that stretch due to traffic ahead on the tracks. Simple solution. Run the trains at intervals where they can run them through this stretch at 60 miles an hour. That will stop/reduce this problem.
