NBA Playoffs?

Game 7 in the East today in which the winner will play Golden State in the Finals.

I just don't even watch the NBA anymore other than check scores every once in a while.

Having grown up on Julius Erving, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Michael Jordan, the NBA playoffs were must watch TV for me back in the day.

I try watching every now and again, but there is something missing that I can't quite put my finger on. The quality and the play is better than ever. The athletes are incredible. Probably just getting old I guess.

I definitely find it strange there isn't much interest from this crowd toward the NBA finals. My friend and I were mostly making series bet parlays. We were doing good till Phoenix lost to the Mavs in an ugly game 7, that busted us.

NBA=woke.

That killed it for me.

I'm sure there is some woke element in racing but for the most part, it's still a meritocracy.

Most of us want sports to take us away from everyday life.

I just cuss out the TV when idiots like Steve Kerr goes on his Woke and BLM
tirades, same with Popovich, they are just spineless jackasses pandering to
the people they coach, who most think it is always whitey's fault, and even though they earn millions a year are oppressed.

They put on a good show.

I'm starting to look into some basketball coaching ( AAU or boys n girls club etc... ), but not interested in the pro stuff right now.

Sports betting is an option. It would take some hours to do some serious betting. I'm not familiar with how much value there is, and I use that time on the ponies.
