"Abolish ICE" movement is a gift to Trump and GOP

I completely agree with this article. The abolish ICE movement is going to be used by Trump effectively over the next few years, and the Democrats will double down and push harder anyway because they hate Trump that much.
As the article states, even the great liberal hero Bernie Sanders is hesistant to abolish ICE because he knows they cannot win on this topic.
We will get 8 years of Trump thanks to this!

Most interesting article and position. Makes a lot of sense.
As the two sides get farther apart, both must be careful to not become so radical as to alienate the less-than-extreme from their own parties.
With the country so evenly divided, I would guess that the moderates will determine the final outcomes.

The max for Trump is January 20, 2025. Hence max for trump is 6.5 years.
He's already wasted 1.5 on silly stuff (wall, Obamacare repeal, Muslim bans, anti immigration stuff, drain the swamp stuff, Get rid of the senate filibuster stuff, NFL kneeling stuff, Putin a great guy stuff, Trade wars stuff. all wasted time)

A big reason Trump was voted in was to fight illegal immigration, so that ain't a waste. And he will use this topic again in 2020 effectively.

Yeah, outside of the wall and repealing Obamacare, which ones is he really "wasting" time on?
Tell me about his "Muslim Ban" and then tell me about his "drain the swamp" order, and his NFL bill or order or whatever you guys think it is, and please tell me about his new "anti-immigration law", which should be good to learn about. Like I said, talking points.
