I hope Mayor Pete fixes the racism with these new roads and bridges. I went over a bridge in Mobile, AL recently and distinctly heard it call me a cracker.

Honestly, why does it matter what it’s called?
Isn’t the objective to fix our infrastructure? To repair and/or replace our bridges and roadways?

true...it definitely helps things though when they try and go all 1984 on us by lying about everything and trying to 100% control the language.

Must be...because I heard they built those things to "last forever...."

The average age of a bridge in the US is 44 years old.
Bridges are typically built to last 50 years.
So call me shocked that our infrastructure needs attention.

How many trilliom $ have passed in pork bills and how many actual projects been done/?
The f****** thieves have still not spent the EMERGENCY money the HAD TO HAVE for covid stuff.

Where do you think Biden is getting the money to write off those student loans. SCOTUS said that only Congress can spend money, but money already allocated for other things like COVID relief CAN be spent on student loans.

I remember when Obama spent almost $1 trillion on an infrastructure bill to spend on "shovel ready" jobs. He later admitted that there were no shovel ready jobs.
