Homeless - Santa Monica CA

This article blows my mind.
What is going on there? Are the citizens taking something that is on the approved list.

Also blocks away from Venice Beach, the weirdo capitol of the USA. I thought education was the way out of poverty in this country. If so why would you want homeless people hanging out in a library scaring away people that are trying to educate themselves? Whether liberals like it or not most people do not want to be around groups of homeless people and will avoid wherever they are at. I seriously would like someone to explain how this is a good idea with a straight face. If the linked article was anywhere but California I would have checked to see if it was from the Onion.

It has been the People's Republic of Santa Monica ever since Tom Hayden (remember him) was mayor. Venice was once supposed to look like Venice, Italy. They even had some small canals. I am sure they are long gone now.

I remember him in the Cali state assembly and senate plus being a communist sympathizer married to that traitor Jane Fonda, I don't remember him being mayor, when was that?

Looking it up, no he was't. Memory failure I guess. I know he was in the CA state assembly.

Santa Monica practically invites all those homeless. They use to set up tables in the park with box lunches for them. They supposedly cracked down finally on those sleeping in doorways, but they find others places to crash.

Hard to figure out a solution for the problem. But some sort of rooming house probably except there are too many regulations for that.

With such a short supply of labor currently ship them to those areas hurting for people, except for those deemed mentally unstable.

The library has a rule about smell but it is still uncomfortable in there mostly.
