Phil Bredesen is a decent guy, for a democrat, but it will not happen.

Lots people seem to think so. this poll has Bredesen pulling 12% of the R vote.

If he gets that in November. it will be close.

Certainly the majority of Trump voters are still on board, but lets remember he did lose the popular vote by well over 3 million and I see no reason to think that's going to change. Despite all the B.S. about voter fraud I have yet to see any, and I do mean any, evidence of voter fraud in the hundreds, much less millions of votes.
As to values votes or more accurately those phonies who like to call themselves "values voters," they seem all too willing to turn a blind eye to anything and everything Trump and his gang of crooked politicians do. Instead of draining the swamp, he's created a new and deeper one.
But, fear not, Donald will restore America's greatness 1950s style and life for those trying to protect white minority rule in the USA will be OK. As one white person who sees Trump and his whole clan (or is it klan?) as a first rate phony and low life I just don't know how you people can look yourselves in the mirror.

First off, he didn't lose the popular vote by over 3 mil. It was under 3mil.
Second, last I checked, klansmen don't have Jewish daughters or Jewish son-in-laws or Jewish grandchildren.
That would qualify for immediate expulsion from the klan, so you can rest assured, the Donald isn't a member of the kkk.

Which Trump has nothing to do with. The economy started to improve long ago under Obama and Trump is just reaping the rewards. In fact the economy gained 400,000 fewer jobs in the first fifteen months of the Trump administration than in the last 15 months of Obama's.
Lower taxes.
Which benefit no one except Trump's rich cronies and explode the national debt.
Less regulation.
More pollution; less workplace safety; less worker rights.
Attacking illegal immigration and MS-13. Containing the nuclear threats abroad.
How the hell is taking the inspectors out of Iran containing the nuclear threats?
And he has done nothing yet about North Korea.
Defeated ISIS. There isn't one politician out there that wouldn't like to run on that record, including democrats.
Another case of Trump taking credit for something someone else did. ISIS had lost 80% of its territory in Iraq before Trump took office and Russia deserves much more credit for the defeat of ISIS in Syria than Trump.
I will further predict that Trump will get 25% of the black vote in 2020. The tides are changing with regard to the monolithic voting record of blacks, and Trump has started and will continue to go after that low hanging fruit.

I was going to comment on that, but I am laughing too hard to type.

The Democratic Party is the energized party.
Trump is almost universally not liked in Blue areas. His Jersey approval rating is 34%. Thats just not low, its abysmal. and they are citizens and are very much alive, I can almost bet you wont be a flippant on election night, when Trump is repudiated at the polls.

A worthless subject since popular vote has no importance at the national level. As many have said, if the race were based on popular vote, the candidates would have geared the campaigns toward achieving that goal.

not worthless to our much beloved president. still to this day he actually believes he won the popular vote too despite the facts that state otherwise.

Heres a link to the battle for PA-1
http://www.philly.com/philly/news/po...-20180517.html
Here a blurb from the article about a special election.
"Democrats also pointed to their party’s win in a special election in the 178th state House district Tuesday as the latest evidence that Bucks County was trending blue. Helen Tai’s win — albeit by less than 100 votes out of some 12,600 cast — was the first for a Democrat in the district in 34 years."
First dem in 34 years but the dems are the one losing ground.
LOL.
The R's are all out to win PA-1. all for naught as the seat will flip blue.
