AVG is well known for reporting more false positives then most. My hunch is your using the free version would that be correct?

Just to be sure, do a thorough scan on your machine. You may have something already and the scripts on the new site may be triggering them.

I use Webroot & it just quarantined a virus this morning.
DRF would have been the last site I thought I'd have to worry about.

Not so fast. Seems Sammy is right!
Some of my machines use AVG. This is what came up when I went to the blog page:
I Googled it and found this from Norton, which is not much but not good:

I am getting the same warning. Called that lovely 800 customer support number they have and ofcourse they are denying any problem. Lady suggested I clear my cookies and cache and try again...we'll see.
Update: the above process worked for me. I use AVG by the way.

Thanks for the heads up...ya can't be too careful about this kind of stuff...so, I appreciate the info.
Think I'll just stay away from that site until it's 'cleaned up'.

I had a short conversation with a referral from one of my acquaintances at DRF who turned out to be the right guy to call.
My source told me that DRF IT security is aware of the problem and is working on it. Apparently the problem is associated with one or more of the rotating ads.
He also rightly pointed out that threats that are caught by our virus checkers are not usually much of a problem. It is the threats we don't catch.
BTW, he said that they found out about it from reading this thread.
Regards,
Dave Schwartz

When you gentlemen infect places like DRF because you've been hanging out ( appropriate use of term here ) at PORN SITES--I JUST ABSOLUTELY HATE IT! Now, I have to go to Equibase to look up entries.
I don't know why I put up with any of you guys!

Anyone know if it's even safe to go there for results and entries ? Seems to me if you didn't click on the affected ads you'd be ok .
