Flying Sappho gets a good draw here. Set pace at this class, and just getting nosed at the wire by Loyal Shadow, who just missed at 10-1 next out in Allowance company. Dominguez gets the call, and draws near the rail.

Glory Chaser just broke her maiden in good form, and now draws rail with Cornelio Velasquez, who is on fire. Rice is hitting with 15% trying winners for the 1st time, and this horse holds a good chance here.

Angel Wave is a Presser, who this race sets up perfectly for. Comes in off small layoff, but Espinoza got all out of this filly last out, and just about always comes late. $200,000 purchase in 08, has only banked $40,000. Has been racing very well since April, and is improving. Good setup.

Just couldn't take a 1 for 31 horse at 8-5...had to pass, but he got it done easily.

In race 2 I am looking for a surprise behind all this speed. Wish they were going 6.5f or 7f. Maybe the 8 picks some up or even a bomb like the 1.

Although 1 for 31, she had good connections that can fire at any point. Not to mention, bet to 4/5 in last, and set a hot pace, and was run down by a horse that just missed against much better at 10-1. It was a big risk, but Rudy is tough to ignore.
