I have been accused by some religious types as being a "moral relativist". In this discussion of how far Trump and Sessions have sucked up cruelty and trip over children, at least my conscience is still intact and rather absolute.

Speaking for myself, my conscience is fine, thank you. This whole manufactured crisis made out of whole cloth is due to the scofflaws of previous administrations not enforcing the immigration laws on the books and the Trump Admin. abiding by the Rule of Law by enforcing them.

Contact your congress critters to get them to change the laws and quit whining already. You're pathetic.

We had people who talked nice as Presidents over the last few decades but we didn't have anyone who solved the problem. This guy is taking on the toughest issues in order to put something in place that works. Haven't people figured out that cherry picking words you find offensive with this guy is a waste of time? I mean how many hysterical reactions are we gonna have because he chooses to use words that may offend some people. Why aren't people offended that previous Presidents haven't done sh*t to fix the problem?

How many of our pro illegal immigrant crowd live in an area heavily populated with them? I am guessing next to none. I lived in the illegal immigrant capitol of our USA in Southern California, I saw how the quality of life went down hill for 50 years as our government fees and taxes went up, while the population swelled from people south of the border.

The Left has it panties in a wad simply because Trump is actually enforcing current law. Plain and simple. The Left doesn't give a rat's patut about kids and parents. They just whine and cry and have tantrums because the Trump Admin. is upsetting their vision and goal of creating a permanent [voting] underclass by having all these illegals come into the country and disappear through the cracks.

Me having or not having kids is a non sequitur. This issue is entirely about sanctity of the RULE of LAW. Anyone who truly loves their kids wouldn't put them into the horrible position of experiencing the fear and horror of separation. If these parents want to come here so badly, let them go through the legal channels and "not storm our gates"m thinking that we're going to be okay with just letting any Tom, Dick, Harry, Jane, Mary or Helen because they're totin' kids -- kids that they're using as political tools.

Abraham Lincoln (to paraphrase him) said something along these lines about bad laws: The quickest way to get rid of a bad law is to enforce it.
