Belmont Stakes Ticket Scams

There are some scammers on EBay and stubhub with chutzpah really going for the jugular. General admission is $10 and unlimited for the Belmont Stakes. I.E. selling $10 admission vouchers for over $500!

I really don't know how nyra doesn't try and stop this..... I'm sure there is a way too I just don't know....

They pay because if they see 500s all over the place, when they get one for 300 they feel smart.

If you buy your tickets at StubHub, make sure you print out two copies and take them with you. I got scammed buying Preakness tickets there(I'll Have Another). When the "real" ticket holders showed up, Pimlico took the tickets from us and sent us to the infield.
As to why having an extra set of tickets would have helped, it's a long story, but trust me, take an extra set.

Section 3E is in the clubhouse, about a sixteenth of a mile past the finish line. StubHub says it has 44 tickets available in that section, selling from $600 to $1600 a ticket.

StubHub isn't automatic, though. If you get too greedy you can end up selling them for under face value or not selling them at all.
