How about the Alameda County Fair at Pleasanton?

What is the deal with Arlington? Is this due to the issues they were having pre-Covid-19?

Yes. I don't know all of it, but they don't have an agreement with the horsemen, and it all comes down to Illinois finally allowing casinos at racetracks and Arlington deciding not to apply for one.

I think there is a decent chance for Arlington to close permanently, which should please those clamoring for contraction.

As of three days ago, no decision had been made on opening the Alameda County Fair. I imagine they will have to decide soon.

This owner/breeder, from the NW, says Emerald has green light to go. Maybe mid June.

The LA County Commission continues to stonewall Santa Anita. Could somebody splain to me how it it is safe to race at Los Al but not SA? Maybe the Orange County bureaucrats are more reasonable.

I hope some tracks realize that without fans on the track, there is no reason to all run on weekends. All 7 days can be good markets for some tracks to fill up..
