Anyhoo, I was looking at the long term chart of the VIX today.
During COVID it hit the mid 60s...during 2008 it hit almost 80
It barely broke 30 during this recent downtrend...most major drops pulls it to at least 40+...so if we are indeed still in a downtrend (which we are), we have a ways to go...just sayin'

i am totally convinced that the ups and downs have been created by manipulating the currency markets by not only the fed chairman but in cahoots with the other central bankers of the world. Biden has claimed that he will have chopped $1.5 trillion off the debt and that he is collecting more tax revenue than ever before.
make no mistake about it, this is probably the reason why the markets have been getting hammered. the interesting thing is that this is pretty big news, but we are not hearing to much about this.

last month, both the CEO and preident of Take Two Interactive sold their shares @ $138 before the drop to $110. they sold $20 million each of the stock. was this suspicious, or just great timing?,
i got nothing good to post for today. The MAPA is still working for now.. make sure you have a stop in, in case it decides to tank now. don't ever let that trade become a loser now, its pure garbage.

Nothing suspicious here....
Highs were 187 177 175
Latest high 175 in Jan.....
Selling at 138 means they know its getting worse??????
Looks like some profit taking in store for today

When you come with an earnings report that includes softening sales and a profit margin CUT IN HALF due to the effects of inflation that'll happen.
The economy is fucked, this is what I've been saying for months. No more stimmy, people getting way less in tax refunds, inflation and interest rates rising. THE ECONOMY is fucked. That a huge % of the public is unaware yet should not deter us.
I just closed escrow yesterday on another rental property. This marks the 6th sale in the last 12 months. I've got but one left. Feel very good about it.

Love the stock photos of tortured floor traders being recycled on major down days:

you ain't seen nothing yet. this market will be going down decades soon.
anyone who doesn't understand should take a piece of paper and a pencil, take the pencil and sign your name on the paper. now think about what a bank is going to lend you on your signature with every asset dropping in price. this is how you get a snowball effect. there are skeletons sitting out there somewhere now that we don't even know about, but will soon.

Remember when I said how locking down for so long would lead to economic disasters you can't even imagine?
We're seeing it come to fruition now.
HOWEVER, they won't blame it on that.
They'll blame it on some supply chain issue (but this IS due to lockdowns and COVID madness), or they'll blame it on PUTIN (which is a huge lie), or they'll blame it on something completely fabricated.
They will never admit their lockdown COVID strategy and massive trillions spent to relieve the pain of THOSE VERY LOCKDOWNS will be one of the main causes of a complete market collapse, if it comes to that...which it SHOULD.

right now the markets are confirmed to be going to the july 2020 lows. from there, its highly likely to go to the lows of 2010. from there its 2007 time and for now, i am not going any further, but there are some strong numbers below that too.
the corona was very bad for me. i had a negative test last week and i feel worse now that i did then. i am working hard to get the last of this out of my body and its not that easy..

I predict inflation is going where nobody dared dream it would...think about how long the FED has been pumping money into the system...think of all that money spent on COVID...now add to that Ukraine...
Inflation is probably nowhere near being finished...and the FED is going to look completely helpless to do anything about it except RAISING RATES...yes they will be forced to raise 75 basis points or even 100 points at each meeting...this will be apparent in only a few months time.
The markets breathed a huge sigh of relief when they only raised by 50 points last meeting. They were pricing in a good chance of 75.
Those 75s and 100s and beyond are coming. They have to.
Inflation is
OUT
OF
CONTROL
The markets will respond appropriately.
