Nah, he has to win the Classic. Two wins isn't cutting it no matter how great they were.

who else is even in the running? Who has done anything special really? Epicenter has 1 grade 1 win so far.

You just answered the question. If he wins the Classic, he gets it. You could say the same for Olympiad and Life is Good. It isn't even really a question they would all get it with a Classic win. What am I missing?

Ironically he probably has wrapped it up if he doesn't run in the BCC. OTOH, if he runs and somehow loses to Epicenter....

I don't think he could win by passing unless he showed up later and destroyed another field in the Cigar or whatever that Churchill race is, Clark I think.

I am assuming he jogs past those horses. Unless this horse falls down coming out of the gate he is beating those horses.

I'm sure nearly everyone assumes that, but that isn't the same is having it locked up. He still has to do it.

Life is Good is good enough to challenge him early, but will they try? I'm having Knicks Go in the Pegasus flashbacks.

There's no strong candidate other than Flightline. Epicenter contested two legs of the Triple Crown and didn't win either of them, can he really be horse of the year?

He just glides along and waits for the others to drop off one by one. What is the lowest odds a horse has went off in the Classic? I have a feeling he will be the lowest ever.

He's literally 1 to 2 on the future book RIGHT NOW. And obviously, that's crazy for a horse who races so infrequently- anything could go wrong between now and November.
