When you move into a rental, room, or apartment and the previous occupant abandons their property, why is that stealing if you take possession? I've owned apartments and rented myself years ago, unless the landlords clean out everything, previous owners often leave things behind.

And if you try selling that newly found property, it's a Federal crime called trafficking stolen property. I can't find any article that covers how exactly Ashley Biden abandoned or "stored" her property in her old apartment and then said it was stolen. Now the two traffickers could be sentenced to 5 years, and fined $40,000 to the govt as restitution.

It sounds as if, she was a recovering drug addict or having a mental breakdown, then people do a lot of stupid stuff.

I've been reading O'Keefe's book on Project Veritas and he said that when he decided to not publish the diary, he called the police and asked if they wanted to take possession of it. They declined. Next thing you know, the FBI wearing full battle armor handcuffs him in his undies and takes it, and several cell phones. I heard an interview with him, and he sounded truthful, but who knows?

Only because I lived in Delray beach, at The Astor Condominiums, am I aware that the Delray Beach Police Department called the Secret Service and FBI.

They determined the goods were stolen because Ashley Biden lease was active until December, and the property was stolen by a guest.
