My 15 y.o. granddaughter is doing well in her first job at Wendy's. She said on Tues. night, a lady came thru and ordered $99 worth of fast food. She's learning a valuable lesson in economics.

Seems like the market has digested the current inflow of information. I'm not sure I believe in this long term as everyone seems to forget about the fed in between meetings and earnings and housing bad news are on the way.

It can go to 4222 and still only retrace 50% of the drop since March...which would be an appropriate move for a market that is dropping slow and deep...

there is some good buying going on today in Home Depot, Morgan Stanley and Coin Base for now. these all have good chances of going up with the market on this run.

I sold nearly everything today (mostly energy cos) I'm afraid the govt will be trying to impose windfall profit taxes or the PTB will relax the Russian sanctions.

congressional buys
JP Morgan, TMobile and NVidia.
3 separate trades on those names, but small money and not from noted committee members of congress.
nothing notable on the sell-side.
personally, i got stopped out of McDonald short.. i remain short Coke and Pepsi and will probably clean those 2 out today if i don't get any action in them.

A lot of these stocks that they are buying is because they are in a range that was a support level in the recent past....
YouTubers posting that the crash is about over and there are tons of buying opportunities
And here I was thinking that the YT'ers would be running for the hills..
Heres Nvidia......a common picture for most stocks
and kundos to me a few weeks ago saying that cut out what happen between pandemic and markets sky rocket highs and we'll be back to the norm

i am going to give you a piece of advice that took me a long time to learn in these markets. the more you think, the more you lose. this is not a game about being right or wrong, and stubbornness is the worst way to be. this is a whores game and the only thing you want is to extract money out of it. and most important, don't take anything personally.

Being a nerd and nothing better to do....
I created imaginal portfolios when I took my money out of Chase 6 months ago..
With different themes I found a portfolio of these funds to fair vey well compared to others I created....since June 2021....
by the way , I'm doing better than to have left it in there
