Sarurday Kentucky Downs Open Thread

One can go nuts spreading on this card. I will be taking the opposite approach with minimal horizontals and verticals.

Add opinions on the amazing card.

Race 1
Route Runner....Out of mare that earned nearly 2 million, mostly on grass, and sired by the deadly Gun Runner
Fire Baron...troubled debut at the Spa

Race 3

Golden Sights for the DD....Similar profile to winner of race 2. Showed he liked the turf last and will be forwardly placed, likely in lane 2

Interesting to note that Atone and Pixolate are taking the most $ in the double. $10/1 and 14/1 (respectively)

This card is insane.

Without any doubt the best turf racing card I've ever seen run in the States.

The backside of the card is just nasty. I'm typically NOT a pick 5 player but I caved in and drew up a few tickets. The large fields + the 14% takeout is just too good not to play.

The ladies sprint is a real heavy race. I'm going 5 deep I think.

And throw this tricky turf course on top of fresh grass with rails fully in, and crazy is going to happen.

Hmmm... top shelf time for this track. Could be fast and firm.

Yep, no deep closers today and an inside a must to close. Rai two and three paths also a must for the stalkers and speed
