What has become obvious to me is the casino provides the guard a vacation so news can not get to him and surfaces after it is sure that they minimumized to some extent some liabilitys. The second obvious thing is someone got in the room and may have removed the hard drive from the laptop.

They are meaningless questions, except for the question about an accomplice, for which there is no solid evidence. None of those things make any difference today, and few if any can ever be answered by anyone other than the dead guy. How could answers to any of that change the conclusion that it was a nut job with a bunch of guns and a death wish? Inquiring minds want to know?

Maybe the authorities aren't releasing any more information because there is none. In this modern era of instant anonymous communication, does anyone believe that if such information existed, it would not have been leaked by now?
