Good source for historic takeout and breakage schedules?

Anyone know of a good source for this info that's still updated and includes historical data? The HANA schedule seems to end at 2017.

Also, anyone have a sense how often tracks change their takeout and breakage schedules? Once a year, few times a year, once every few years, etc?

It seems like takeout is usually pretty steady, I still use the HANA 2017 chart & if there have been any changes they've been few & far between. I do wish that info could be updated though to include columns regarding jackpot wagers & what the takeout for carryovers are on those.

Most (if not all) are regulated by their jurisdiction and can only change with permission.

Typically, they don't change often.

If you're doing pool calcs, they need to be accurate.

In our software, we use At The Races (ATR) by Gary Pizzagate. Excellent software. If the takeout figs in his program are wrong, then you get the wrong projected odds.

It is highly advantageous to be able to know that a horse is going to be 2.4/1 instead of 2.0/1. It just gives us more accuracy in the wagering process.

Yup, that's exactly where I'm at, Dave. I've developed a pretty good process for estimating what the final % bet on each runner will be (so not including takeout). But now, like you've send, the expected payout from that number can vary if I've got incorrect takeout info (breakage as well).
