it is interesting watching the downhill practice on manmade snow / ice in the valleys - going to be fast with many crashes.

I'm a long-time fan of Mikaela Shiffrin will watch her ski. I can relate to her loss of her dad, so maybe I'm biased. She loves our country and does her best to represent it.
I'm sure there are many other of our athletes, who like the rest of us, wish we could flush all our politicians down a bottomless pit. I have a friend who was the head of security for the US Olympic team for several of the olympics, and from what I've heard, they are completely focused on two things: winning medals and "co-habitation"

some are suggesting the chinese are collecting dna from the athletes for future use

Outbreak of covid has reached the athletes while china continues to say nothing here look away it has affected 380+ people in the bubble --- what will the athletes take home with them?? Why would we send them other than to create more shit

not sure what the rules say or what they were wearing, but what would be wrong if they wore wingsuits?

I saw someone’s Twitter post about how DQ’s on a country’s athletes is starting to show a trend of where there is an athlete(s) from China and the judges see something wrong and then DQ that country’s athlete and moves up the Chinese ones.
I was watching the speed skating events yesterday am and this Hungarian guy got DQ’d for “pushing” a Chinese skater across the line.

One person on the Russian ice skating team tested positive for a non-performance enhancing, but an illegal to use DRUG. I do not think they have decided what to do yet - the Russian team placed first ....
