Greyhound wagering coming to Twinspires?
Sure looks like it!
Perhaps they are in beta test mode, when I went into their app moments ago

My first experience at a track/ racing was greyhound. I did learn some fundamentals. I would like to see it added to platforms and like Derbywars. Something to fill in on slow days.
Would like to see better care taken of them.
For those who got a chance the Birmingham Race course was fun. The greyhound track is in the infield of the horse track. They did run a dog race in between horse races. When no live horse meet, you could go out on the track to watch the dogs.

Don't know, and haven't checked lately but most greyhound tracks put them on their website for free. I know Southland does.

Yes, you can still blame one of the Ortiz brothers.

Never fear there are other things to blame. Most popular is slowing down the lure to make a lead dog check.
Changing odds in far turn when nobody is looking is another.
The track I mentioned had an elimination grade. They didn't get whacked, but would grade off at the bottom level I think if they didn't hit the board in the six tries. Trainers often accused of happy juicing to prevent that.
Sticking a dead inside/ outside runner , whatever is needed to wreck a favorite in first turn.
Those are some I remember.

Bottom line is that I'd like to see the end of greyhound racing. My experiences include:
I ran a greyhound message board where adopters, adoption groups, animal activists, and trainer/owners were constantly at each other's throats.
We adopted 3 greyhounds over the years. The first was a 2 year old epileptic who lasted 8 months and died from brain damage from consecutive seizures and lack of oxygen. We didn't find out his family epileptic history until later. His dad was a great racer, seizures and all.
We picked up our next two from an adoption group in Colorado at Rocky Mountain Greyhound Park. The big male my wife chose was in a crate where his back scraped the top. They'd had pulled his carpeted floor off earlier apparently because he was chewing on it in frustration which left him on a plywood floor.
I transported adoptable greyhounds for several years between tracks, adoption groups, and adopters. I even hauled a couple of female greyhound coyote hunters in southwest Kansas to an adoption group in Phoenix. The rancher/farmer said all they do is "just eat" and was going to put them down. His daughter contacted me for help.
Some of my longer trips include Mobile to Albuquerque, Denver to Twin Falls, Idaho with 2 Spanish greyhounds and 1 from Twin Falls to Toledo, Ohio. They were rescues from Spain and had been flown to Denver.
Greyhound racing is in full retreat and I'd like to see it end as soon as possible. These guys are treated horribly for the most part.
