The Navarro/Serivs horses are coming back

Something like 100 horse have been in "jail" ( why aren't the former trainers??) and it will be interesting to see how they perform compared to pre-indicments.

I think 3 or 4 have run back this week - I'll see if I can find them and post - we can do a list here to see what happens.....

A Servis horse ran at CD yesterday. Fig Jelly, number in the 7th race, and now trained by Brad Cox, ran 2nd in that 5 1/2 f turf race for OC $62,500 n2x.

As a side note, it wasn't unusual for that horse to run 2nd. After yesterday he has 2 wins, 11 places and 1 show in 23 lifetime starts.

Malibu Max just won at GP, race 9, first time Pletcher after last racing for Jorge Nacheato. Strangely enough he was 0-4 for Jorge.

That's usually the way these things go. If the horse ends up with another high-percentage trainer, it might keep on winning. If it doesn't, odds are it will tail off, but most of the time the horse also won't get bet. The 3-5 shots, of course, are the ones we love to bet against.

Obviously you look for trends, like more than one shows up with Pletcher and wins, that's something to watch (again, probably no prices but still...).

Because the trainers have better lawyers.
