I have literally bet close to 400,000 races in my life, so I no longer remember much about who did what for me.
A little while ago I scored $80+ on $8. in bets in the 6th race at Northfield.
The #1 horse won, so as of right now the #1 horse has been the best horse ever for my wallet.

If the #3 horse wins race #10 at Northfield then I will remember the #3 until hopefully I score another winner,
or until I go to bed.

War Emblem, nobody else is close. He pretty much propelled me to prominence as a figure maker, what prominence I have anyway. And that has led me to a nice gig doing what I love.

It all started here, loved him this day:

Even posted it here on PA. Don't think U S S Tinosa ran very well though.

Needless to say, couldn't have happened without PA!

Winning Colors-Derby
Carpenter-at Parx, this past Jan-biggest price horse I've ever had at 66-1 + exacta.
Also had an honorable mention on Funny Cide, I bet a whole table of people at a bar/restaurant in NY that he would lose the Belmont, the bet was for our dinner and drinks plus my tab at a NY club later that evening. None of them were horse players, so I did feel a "little" guilty over that bet.

I have no idea the names of most of the horses at this point, but the Monarchos/Invisible Ink exacta ($1229 for $2) in the 2001 Derby is the biggest exacta I've ever hit, so let's go with that.

If Bien Bien was in 2019 he would be a dominant force. Such a cool horse. Didnt like soft ground though.

Rockmill Two:

First real score I ever made. Mountaineer
about 2001? I think he was 22-1 and I had 50 across da board
I waited and tracked the trainer for like 3 weeks.

War Emblem :
Crushed it in the Illinois Derby and again in the KY Derby.
Gave the horse out to everyone in my office and was the toast of the place after several people bet the horse in the KY Derby.
Got the dollar Preakness Super with Magic Weisner 2nd
For 13k and had 50 across on Magic Weisner. Got to talk to R. Migliore about his ride on Weisner while visiting AQU years later. I enjoyed that big time. OTM AL introduced me to him. Al was a great member of this board and a great racing fan who I miss from this board

Funny Cide:
In KY Derby

Grammarian:
Years back in Sunset Handicap, I think at 30-1? at Hollywood park
Crushed it big time

Western Pride:
WV Derby Watched it with my dad right before he died http://www.espn.com/horse/news/2001/0809/1237378.html

Whitmores Conn:
Sword Dancer
https://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-rac...n-sword-dancer

I was on a fishing trip/vacation at Lake Oneida several years back and we got rained out early in the morning. So we headed over to Vernon Downs and played the ponies all day. I crushed a pretty good price horse early on in Chicago and later that evening the Harness races started at Vernon Downs. There was a horse running named “My Pal Ralph” everybody was teasing me about playing the horse. When the race came up I actually really liked the horse as a closer. I sneaked off from our party of 4 (in laws and my wife) and let my earlier winnings ride on Ralph. He came storming on the outside in late stretch and got the win a pretty nice odds (memory?) and the 4 of us went to dinner at some swanky inn nearby and Ralph (both of us) picked up about a 700 dollar dinner tab......great memory

Lots of others escape me......these names stand out though.....
This game has changed so much.......good thread
